Yu On-on shares her personal lunch with everyone
Michelle Ye has zero interaction with other casts
i-cable ten dollar channel is competing with TVB with its first series 'Tuition Queen' which is currently being filmed. Yu On-on who has not filmed for more than ten years communicates well with the other cast. She not only brought her own lunchbox but also shared it with everyone else. On the contrary, Michelle Ye who only has one scene that night, only interacts with her manager and has zero interaction with other casts.
'Tuition Queen' is i-cable's first series, and consist quite a number of actresses including Michelle Ye, Ellen Chen, Yu On-on, Monie Dong etc, while actors include Eric Kot, Spencer Leung and Cheung Yiu Yeung etc.
On the day of visit, the scene being filmed is mainly about how the couple of On-on and Eric get along, both of them have mutual understanding, On-on said: "In the series, I am Eric's wife, I am a career woman, and prioritize my career a lot. After our marriage, we have contradicting opinions and our relationship deteriorated. The interactions among casts are quite good as we've just started filming for a few days, we've chats and laughter, it is very comfortable." On-on who has not filmed series for more than ten years did not feel unfamiliar, she smilingly said: "It is not too hard to film indoor scenes, it is very comfortable with the air condition. As I have not filmed series for more than ten years, I missed bringing a lot of things on the first day of my outdoor scene filming like repellent, fan etc, but after that I learnt to remember."
When the director called for supper, on-on appeared very excited, and she was seen taking out a 'take-away' order. She said: "I haven't even had dinner. I saw this Japanese food when filming just now thus I bought it as it is really nice!" On-on was not selfish with her personal food at all. Although the portion of her food was not a lot, she offered it to everyone she saw, be it casts or staffs, not having any airs at all.
Eric Kot who has always been humorous also demonstrated his talent that night. When he practiced his dialogue with On-on and Cheung Yiu Yeung, he will be serious, and even noted carefully what attire is to be worn for each scene.
Has enough time to rest
On the contrary, the other female lead in the series, Michelle Ye who only has one scene arrived early at the scene to take her position. She stayed in the restroom until it was nearly time to film before appearing. Michelle only bothered to chat with her manager and did not bother to communicate with the other casts at the scene at all. She said: "I only have this scene tonight, I hope to finish filming quickly to go home. It's not that we don't interact, because we have only started filming for a few days, we are not too familiar yet, also I have matters to discuss with my manager, we do chat when we take our positions."
Michelle Ye who has not appeared in Hong Kong for quite some time will not film for i-cable's series. The happiest thing about this is she has enough time to rest, she said: "After starting work for 3 - 4 days, it is not too hard, although the time to work is later (at night), but I have enough sleep." Michelle Ye plays a highly paid Tuition Queen who comes from a wealthy family and has quite a lot of scenes with comedy king, Eric Kot. She actually likes his jokes best, "I like his jokes best because I can test my spontaneous reactions."
