Cha Ji Neui completes; Michelle Ye's tears praised as 'Water Tape'

'Cha Ji Neui' is Michelle's second collaboration with Alan Mak (麦兆辉) and Felix Chong (庄文强)
Comedy thriller 'Cha Ji Neui' directed by Alan Mak and Felix Chong, and starring Eason Chan, Sammi Cheng and Michelle Ye finally completes their filming in Hong Kong just before the Lunar New Year.
This time, it will be movie industry newbie, Michelle Ye's second collaboration with Alan Mak and Felix Chong. In 'Cha Ji Neui', she plays the wife of mafia boss (by Eason Chan), and they have a child who will be kidnapped, thus there is undoubtedly some lengthy crying scenes. This is however no challenge to her. Don't be deceived by her outer when she fools around gleefully with 'humor king' Eason Chan and caused others to worry if it will affect her performance in the movie, because when the director shouts 'Start!' everyone lost their worries immediately. Michelle was not merely able to be entirely emotionally absorbed with Eason Chan, her tears could be summoned anytime, most of her crying scenes were a one take shot, director praised her for saving films, thus the director gave her a title – 'Water Tape'.
In the movie, Michelle Ye and Eason Chan play a pair of loving husband and wife. When faced with the incident of their child being kidnapped, they stood together to face all obstacles and challenges, and didn't gave up on the other despite hardships, walking down the path hand in hand, their relationship is touching.
With her career currently going well and the abundance of movie contracts, she couldn't even take much break for the Lunar New Year. After a brief rest of a few days, Michelle again came back to work excitedly with dedication. It's no wonder she always says she's dating her career! February 14th happens to be Michelle's birthday which also falls on Valentine's Day. Michelle who is being labeled as 'workaholic' expressed that she will celebrate this special day with her friends, and too hopes for a trustworthy love relationship such as the one in her movie, she hopes to find a soul mate to share their bitter sweet together.
