Basically this tells all the happenings, jokes, etc. that can be told in other journals (exception of personal feelings which of course differs for everyone).

Record of meeting Michelle – Xiao Yan’s long winded yaks
The craps in front:
After a month of wait, the day finally arrived. I remember when the visit news was first released on 5th Oct, I was the first to register, and then began to repeat, 1111… 1111…
Back then I felt that it was weird why Michelle picked that day, maybe it was because she herself needn’t celebrate (a certain occasion which I’m not sure about)… Actually I like to call that day as Single’s Day, I was told by others of this saying, but it think it sounds much better. Anyway, Michelle’s such decision has rescued a bunch of singles guy and girls. On the 1111 day, it became so much more meaningful.
To me, I will forever remember this date as my first meeting with Michelle… Accordingly, our assignment should reach ten thousand words? Then I have no other way but to be long winded…
Part One: The Many Obstacles
Once again, I deeply experienced the difficulties of being a fan. Last night, after watching the TVB awards, it was already 12 when I got on bed. I’m not sure if it was because of my doubts for the awards or because of my excitement to see Michelle that I could not fall asleep. I tossed and turned and even received a message from someone asking about the results. The enquirer slept after getting the results while I continued to toss… I tossed until it became suffering, Tossed until it was 5 in the morning. When I can no longer withstand the tossing, I got up to daydream. It was a long time before I lasted till 6am, when I brushed my teeth, had a wash and left before 6:30am. Thus, I arrived at the train station an hour before the train arrived.
After breakfast, I took my heavy backpack with me – my backpack is filled with gifts for Michelle. I began waiting for another fan who is visiting Michelle, but due to many problems, I never got to wait for her. I am very sorry. Finally I went on the train at the last 5 minutes. What shocked me was the tremendous crowd on the train… I could not even move, and it is in these squeezing cabin that I spent my next 2 hours before reaching Hangzhou’s station.
Alighting from the station, I looked around for the signboard, but couldn’t find any… Even after asking a security, I was still helpless. However, asking around has earned me a companion… We looked around together… Still we couldn’t find and thus called to ask, and after several obstacles, we finally found the gathering spot.
At that moment, I immediately recognized An Da, but I didn’t dare to go over to greet, but I was quite confirmed I recognized the right person. Luckily we found our group at last… What peculiars me is why I couldn’t recognize Fang but she instead recognized me… And then the game of recognizing people began, remembering a batch of people… Time finally ticked to 12 noon.
I don’t know why, the notice from the filming cast keeps changing. Due to personal reason, I need to be home before 9pm, which means I need to reach the station before 6. We became more exasperated as we waited, and then became calm. Initially I was thinking to be satisfied to meet Michelle just once, but later I would’ve been satisfied if I could just taste some of Hangzhou’s local delicacies. Without pressure, I began looking around to pass time.
About 12:20, the group of 50 of us paraded into the streets and won some mystified looks from passer-bys. Just as we were nearing the delicacies, we got another notice… We rushed to the hospital… *cries*… There goes my lunch.
When we arrived, we again became lost and wandered aimlessly. On the way, I couldn’t stand my hunger and rushed into a bakery to buy a little food. The group waited at a certain spot. Suddenly there was a little excitement, a car came by and someone said that it was Michelle’s car. As far as I’ve known, artist usually sit at the backseat, when I looked, she was not there … When I looked further, there someone was seated at the passenger seat with sunglasses, the nose was high and fair, a girl, our Michelle.
Now, this sounds weird. From when I alighted the train this morning I am constantly excited, but when I finally saw Michelle, I was instead very calm. My heart only thought, it’s good my trip is not wasted. Seeing the beautiful Michelle appearing and smiling, I know today will be a really extraordinary day.
Part Two: My Dream come true.

It doesn’t matter how much time we have to be with her, or if we can take photos, or if we can pass her our gifts, or if we can talk to her, at least my trip has not been wasted. I told a fan that I can now return to Shanghai with satisfaction, and she only laughed, I know she understood.
Michelle’s car entered and we stayed still. Michelle alighted from her car and waved at us and we waved joyously at her as well. Michelle indicated to us for us to enter, thus the big group of us entered the site. There are a few workers and hawkers who looked at us with curious stares, but we were long accustomed with these glances. Most importantly, that was the least of our concern at the moment.
We all surrounded Michelle and she greeted us warmly. It was only when I saw everyone taking out their cameras that I remembered the important mission – to take photos. Thus I took out my camera.
According to Michelle, after listening to much of Beijing’s accent, it was in fact the Southern dialect accent that was nicer to listen to. I personally felt that Michelle’s accent (in Mandarin) was more alike to (a certain local accent), but everyone have their own opinions, you will understand if you hear her personally.
At this moment, I saw her fans began giving out their gifts, thus I hurriedly took out my gifts for her as well. The first gift should be from a fan from Hunan, a big packet of food. After receiving the first gift, I quickly gave Michelle mine. As it was wrapped, Michelle looked at me, smiling, and waited for me to tell her what it was… It was such a beautiful expression… Luckily I practiced my calmness lately, it served me some good, and I kept my calmness telling her “This is Su Tong’s new book, I helped you buy it.” Michelle was very happy after listening to that, saying “Oh, Su Tong, XXXX” How embarrassing, I have forgotten what she said in the end. My terrible memory, but it was something like she was looking for it as well. Before that I was afraid Michelle might already have it, luckily she hasn’t yet, so Michelle accepted my gift. After all, it was probably not many who do not wish their idols to open their gifts after presenting it to them… She laughed saying “Wah, you give me a secret gift in front of so many people…” I only laughed. Hopefully friends who have taken photos of Sin Chan can share it with us. Michelle really liked it and hooked it to the zipper of her jacket. Later a fan came up and gave her a big packet of food. Michelle saw and felt puzzled, saying “How do you know I like to eat Qia Qia melon seed?” Of course we have our ways of knowing la… I remembered my bag also have a packet of Qia Qia melon seed for Michelle, thus I put it together with the bag of gifts. It doesn’t matter if Michelle knows or not who gave it, I’m just happy to think that Michelle is eating the melon seeds I bought for her.
Michelle was overjoyed like a child after receiving so many gifts. She told Xiao Hua “Wah, so many, we need to keep it behind the car then.” And then Michelle said, lets take photos of these, please help me hold a while.” A fan took over. I saw that she was having a hard time and thus helped her out.
Everyone surrounded Michelle to take photos, Michelle said it can’t be that way, let me help you people to line up. Then she voluntarily walked forward. As she walked, everyone followed her. Michelle said those who want to take photos leave your cameras here, thus everyone dumped several cameras forward. Michelle saw them and was taken aback awhile and said the photos are actually the same. So we choose the best camera and share it on the net later. Then we prepared for the photo taking session, and Michelle invited a few fans who stood by the side, saying “Come and take photo…” I’m not sure if they joined us in the end, it was too chaotic, I really didn’t notice…
After taking photos, I handed over the stuff I held onto to Michelle, saying “Your gifts” Michelle said “Thank You.” I said “These are the ones you just received.” Michelle said “I know, you helped me take them right.” Then, she kept all the gifts in her car. One of the gifts made a deep impression on me. I really respect that fan because the thing was so big, I think she must have put a lot of effort in it. I can see that she really likes Michelle a lot… I applaud for her from my heart.
After taking photos, Michelle moved her small chair looking for a place to sit down. Everyone began taking photos madly. I took a few and kept my camera then. Because of my past experience, I have reminded myself to use my own eyes more than using the camera. Also because An Da said to not take photos when they disallow it, thus I’m afraid I might take photo at the wrong time. So basically I didn’t take much photos. I stood at the side position and watch Michelle from there.
Michelle’s real person is much more beautiful than onscreen, but she is also much thinner, thus looks a little fragile. Xiao Hua gave her the script and she kept reading while allowing others to continue taking photos madly.
After a while, Michelle looked up to chat with everyone. As the costume truck had still yet arrived, thus there was quite some time. Ruo Hui took out the 30 photos from overseas fans for Michelle to sign, Michelle said to sign only these 30 photos. Ruo Hui explained that this is because overseas fans have less chance to see Michelle. Most of the fans were understanding, and obediently watched Michelle signing. Michelle chat here and there while signing, I can’t remember the exact topics.
When Michelle signed up to a photo, Michelle said “Eee, this photo is too scary.” Then she signed on her own arm, and I commented “Wa, the part you sign is too scary.” She said “Yeah, don’t you think this photo is too (something, don’t understand), how can there be such a big arm…” I can’t find that photo, hopefully someone can upload it, everyone will understand what Michelle means after seeing it.
After seeing carefully, I said “No, this is your arm plus your back.” Michelle said “Yeah, but the photo has no perspective effect…” And then she naturally asked Ruo Hui who gave her the photos “Why choose this one?” Ruo Hui explained, maybe they like it. First Detail: Two male Michelle fans
The attention grabber of our troupe this time would be the two male fans. They became the attention grabber since our journey from the train station. A Kiss?” Then she turned to Xioa Hua and said, “Go Xiao Hua…” Everyone laughed hard.
Second Detail: Xiao Hua
Xiao Hua is Michelle’s assistant. We can see that she really takes care of Michelle, and their relationship is very good. Throughout the visit she kept maintaining the order, perhaps a little strict, thus maybe some fans are unhappy. But we can see that she does it for Michelle. I am happy for Michelle to have such a good assistant.
Third Detail: Memory
Michelle has a very good memory, she can recognize many fans and remember where she has seen them. After reading the card from overseas fans, Michelle saw a Rain from Malaysia, and discussed with An Da about it. An Da said Hong Kong also has a Rain, Taiwan has a XX… Sorry, I can’t remember anymore, but it is a similar name. Later Michelle said, no, Malaysia also has a Rain… What a good memory. I think if I can be infected a bit with Michelle’s memory, my memory will have some hope…
Part Three: Beautiful Memories
Actually I did not intend to use ‘beautiful’ but in order to meet Michelle, I believe many fans has suffered hunger and the coldness, thus it is not exaggerating. But luckily we did meet Michelle, thus however suffering it is, it’s worth it, and what can a little ‘hunger’ account for? It doesn’t matter, with love, even water is filling enough.

Everyone should be understanding, right? Michelle flipped over, and then resumed her usual cheerful tone saying “It’s not too bad.” True, to us, Michelle is forever beautiful.

As for my photo – it is the ‘luckiest’ one. Michelle took up her pen and ‘scratched’ a few lines, thus… Everytime there is a combine photo, Michelle will always sign on the person, and reasoned that, he is a guy thus it does not matter… I guess you have your own reasoning…
2. Self-Loving Michelle
Michelle’s self-loving is constantly portrayed out… It’s good, it is a type of self confidence as well… While signing a certain photo, Michelle said, this photo is really beautiful. There is a photo that is a combination of Michelle’s funny expressions, Michelle looked at it for a long time, and pointed to one and said, this is adorable… *faint* You must be the first person who compliment yourself to be adorable… even Xiao Hua also said that she is self-loving. When Michelle signed DongRen’s calendar, she was given one as well. Xiao Hua said, since you love yourself so much, you should take it back and hang it up… But it’s really nice… Even I don’t have it… Jealous…
3. Michelle's message
An Da requested Michelle to write up to ten words for her message she leaves for DongRen. As for what the message is, everyone shall wait for it later… After signing, the visit is nearing to the end. At this moment I suddenly remember I have another gift for Michelle. Since I did not want to bother Michelle again I passed it to Xiao Hua. At last before she left, she hugged An Da, Ruo Hui and some others. After Fang hugged Michelle, Michelle turned to me and I told her I don’t need a hug, a handshake will do. Michelle held out her hand and her hand was even rougher than I thought. I think it might be the result of her independence since young. Michelle held my hand and said, “So icy, you all must be really cold.” I was thinking, as long as we can see you, what does it matter to be a little cold.
Michelle went on her car, and slowly left. She kept bidding farewell. I took out my camera as I said “Bye” to capture the moment she leaves. Michelle at last naughtily made another Sin Chan face before leaving but I was not in time to catch it…

Then we prepared for the photo taking session, and Michelle invited a few fans who stood by the side, saying “Come and take photo…” I’m not sure if they joined us in the end, it was too chaotic, I really didn’t notice…
After taking photos, I handed over the stuff I held onto to Michelle, saying “Your gifts” Michelle said “Thank You.” I said “These are the ones you just received.” Michelle said “I know, you helped me take them right.” Then, she kept all the gifts in her car. One of the gifts made a deep impression on me. I really respect that fan because the thing was so big, I think she must have put a lot of effort in it. I can see that she really likes Michelle a lot… I applaud for her from my heart.
After taking photos, Michelle moved her small chair looking for a place to sit down. Everyone began taking photos madly. I took a few and kept my camera then. Also because An Da said to not take photos when they disallow it, thus I’m afraid I might take photo at the wrong time. So basically I didn’t take much photos. I stood at the side position and watch Michelle from there.
Michelle’s real person is much more beautiful than onscreen, but she is also much thinner, thus looks a little fragile. Xiao Hua gave her the script and she kept reading while allowing others to continue taking photos madly.
After a while, Michelle looked up to chat with everyone. As the costume truck had still yet arrived, thus there was quite some time. Ruo Hui took out the 30 photos from overseas fans for Michelle to sign, Michelle said to sign only these 30 photos. Ruo Hui explained that this is because overseas fans have less chance to see Michelle. Most of the fans were understanding, and obediently watched Michelle signing. Part Three: Beautiful Memories
Actually I did not intend to use ‘beautiful’ but in order to meet Michelle, I believe many fans has suffered hunger and the coldness, thus it is not exaggerating. When signing, there is a fan called ‘mosquito’, thus Michelle drew. In the end, the first impression was that it looked like a butterfly, and then the more she drew the more it looked like a bat…

2. Self-Loving Michelle
Michelle’s self-loving is constantly portrayed out… It’s good, it is a type of self confidence as well… While signing a certain photo, Michelle said, this photo is really beautiful. There is a photo that is a combination of Michelle’s funny expressions, Michelle looked at it for a long time, and pointed to one and said, this is adorable… *faint* You must be the first person who compliment yourself to be adorable… even Xiao Hua also said that she is self-loving. When Michelle signed DongRen’s calendar, she was given one as well. Xiao Hua said, since you love yourself so much, you should take it back and hang it up… But it’s really nice… Even I don’t have it… Jealous…
3. Michelle's message
An Da requested Michelle to write up to ten words for her message she leaves for DongRen. As for what the message is, everyone shall wait for it later… After signing, the visit is nearing to the end. At this moment I suddenly remember I have another gift for Michelle. Since I did not want to bother Michelle again I passed it to Xiao Hua. At last before she left, she hugged An Da, Ruo Hui and some others. After Fang hugged Michelle, Michelle turned to me and I told her I don’t need a hug, a handshake will do. Michelle held out her hand and her hand was even rougher than I thought. I think it might be the result of her independence since young. Michelle held my hand and said, “So icy, you all must be really cold.” I was thinking, as long as we can see you, what does it matter to be a little cold.
Michelle went on her car, and slowly left. She kept bidding farewell. I took out my camera as I said “Bye” to capture the moment she leaves. Michelle at last naughtily made another Sin Chan face before leaving but I was not in time to catch it…
