Ok, I'm probably the most disorganised member in this forum.....but I lost my IFR application number. I'm thinking, would it be too tedious to maybe make a list, of IFR member, with their name, IFR application number and the country they're from? That way we can show that we have members from all over the globe, AND disorganised members like me dont need to panick about the number because they accidentally deleted the wrong e-mail >< Many fanlistings do this, they list the name, and country the person is from, and if the user allows, e-mail as well Just a suggestion, because when we expand, I think there may be more people like me who lost their number.

Okay, first of all, in the confirmation email, we've already stated we WILL be publishing an official list, except not now cos trust me, a lot ppl duno how to register correctly so there are a lot of documentation to do. Besides, we also only allow one fan per registration wic means we will be checking the IP individually to ensure no double registration (using different names / email) etc. (This particularly take time) Then, if the application somehow needs more feedback from the applicant we need to wait for the applicants to reply. etc. So yeah, basically there's a lot to do that's why the list is not published yet. Sorry for the inconvinience. Another important point is, the Application Ref No is only temporary ** use, when the list is published, you will be given a Membership No. **(for applicants who have had yet has their name in the official list) But since the first list is yet out, thus for now, everyone only has their Application Ref No for now. And yeah, you will receive another notification email when the list is published, you will also individually get ur respective Membership No. We do a lot of documentation to avoid any inconvinience for both the applicants and MYR team, so hopefully in future, you take time to read them. As you've said, in future when members get outta hand, we mite not have the time to reply each and every member, esp in queries wic we have clarified in the first place. Yeah, we do know ppl tend to forget etc, wic is why we can help you retrieve ur data, but takes time... Bear with us! Hope u understand

haha excel is powerful enuf for our 'club' hehe... hmm my whole internship I was dealing with databases, so I wud say if we know how to use, excel to the max, it is even simpler to filter, search data compared to access... access is kinda... stringent.. of cos, if we have complicated database, access mite be better, but i dun see a need now

hahaha I hated excel, I hated access even more. The teacher gave us an assignment where we had to make a 'calculator', and do you know what I went to the trouble of doing? I made 5 page long formula which consisted of one long equation that used nested functions and then I had to split it into different cells because it was too long for one cell.
There was this place where I forgot to put " " marks, so the whole thing backfired, and then I set off, trying to find the needle in a haystack ><
but yeh, excel is much better. I screw up access when you have to do the relationship thing. ><
