Hehe, it's the habit of how Chinese (esp Cantonese) say to go out with a bunch of friends for a drink/snack & chit chat (not necessary tea)
but yes literally 'yum' = drink, and 'cha' = tea hehe

haha...yeah..most cantonese in Msia like to ask their fren out for yam cha..even in the middle of night..haha..at mamak stall especially..
mamak stall = a muslim indian stall...

lol....."yam cha" i usually heard it on a radio commercial but i only know it when a friend of me told me wat that mean, at first i thought it mean sitting down or something chinese's kool....i hope i kno it too so i can understand wat Michelle's talking about on those clips....

hhaha cantonese has a lot of 'slang' where the words dont really literally mean what they look like.

yeah..i'm sure hk ppl cant really understand malaysian chinese speak cantonese coz have most word are translate from malay..hehe...

oooo, whats it like in Malaysia? Is it a bit like HK? cos I saw on TV one day, it filmed some parts of Malaysia and it really looked lyk it was filmed in HK, hehe. I would love to visit Malaysia too one day, to meet all dedicated Michelle Ye fans.
