As Lei Xi Zhan has marriage contract with the King's niece, Ng Mo Yung (Selina Li), he faces pressures from several parties, including his family and the King's family to be appointed the excelled scholar before he is allowed to marry Mo Yung. In fact, Lei Xi Zhan is not interested in the marriage because he has no feelings for her.
Lei Xi Zhan coincidentally met with the legendary 'Medicine Fairy' (Michelle Ye) who is popular among the villagers for curing all kinds of sickness without asking for any payment. Her whereabouts were a mystery and came and go like the wind, causing people to term her as a fairy. Lei Xi Zhan was interested to find out more about her as she is knowledgeable in medicine.
'Medicine Fairy' turned out to be a normal girl, Tung Ching, who is an expert in medicine. Her disguise was because most people would not trust a girl doctor in the olden days. They both later grew fond of each other, but due to a series of misunderstandings, and out of mistaken gratitude that Mo Yung saved his life (instead of his actual savior, Tung Ching), Lei Xi Zhan in the end married Mo Yung to save her from being a nun.
Although married, Lei Xi Zhan could not forget his love for Tung Ching, and when he found out Tung Ching did not agree to marry to his brother as he had mistaken, he began doubting his marriage. While Tung Ching and Xi Zhan both realized that they can never be, can they fight their true love and respect his mistaken marriage that brought much dilemma¡?
