Man Dik is an excellent, youthful sergeant of a police unit. He is much respected and well regarded. His family background is very pleasant; his father runs a toy store while his mother, Feng Ying, is a gentle housewife - a family that gets along well.
However, his love life is a disaster. He doesn't understand the heart of woman, always meets with obstacles and is often dumped by his girlfriends. Man Dik's life is carefree; the only regret may be not finding back his brother who was kidnapped when young.
Man Dik's brother, Doi Bou is an orphan who grew up in Temple Street. Loyalty and friendship is extremely important to him. However, fate is teasing them, during one of Man Dik's investigation; Doi Bou was mistakenly framed, thus leaving a bad impression.
Later, Feng Ying finally recognized Doi Bou as her son, however the misunderstanding earlier on caused the two persons to frequently have disputes¡
On the other hand, Brother Bou has sworn friends who grew up with him like true siblings ¨C they're known as the '6 Little Luck of Temple Street'. They're all living the lifestyle of Temple Street ¨C unorganized and unplanned. He also fell in love with another so-called little sister Ho Hei (Michelle Ye), but Ho Hei instead fell for Man Dik.
Ho Hei fell in love with Man Dik after he once helped her when she twisted her ankle in the rain. Later, they ran into one another, one time after another, and Ho Hei started to develop feelings for him. Once, Man Dik, out of his anger for Doi Bou (who likes Ho Hei), held Ho Hei's hands and took her away, thus leading on the misunderstanding.
Doi Bou uses his identity as a brother and Feng Ying's spoiling to tease and annoy Man Dik, while Man Dik uses Ho Hei to revenge on Doi Bou, but at the same time, his ex-girlfriend came back and confessed her love¡
Later however Man Dik, does not seem sure of his feeling, and explained to Ho Hei that they're just friends. Ho Hei was very heartbroken but Doi Bou used his 'Temple Street' ways to comfort her. Ho Hei, being an angel, immediately forgave Man Dik for using her, and wanted to resume their friendship when Man Dik said
Man Dik's mother has cancer and hopes to see Man Dik and Ho Hei to get married. But due to the many obstacles and Ho Hei finally realizing that her Big Brother Bou has always had feelings for her, she is now unsure of whom she loved most, Man Dik or Doi Bou?
When Doi Bou delivered away a time bomb planted by a villain in Temple Street and was hanging between in the stage of life and death, Ho Hei finally finds the answer¡
How will this complicated love resolve in the end? Is Doi Bou really Man Dik's long-lost brother? Can Man Dik and Doi Bou's hate fade away? Who does Ho Hei really love?
