Although in the recent years, Wong Jing and ATV have good productions, but from this series, there are definitely some rough edges, but it is still very thrilling on the whole, it is definitely Hong Kong's excellent production in the recent years. The script simply said, is the insurance version of 'War and Beauty', you will realize women is always so ferocious, while man is the sidekick in the insurance industry. 'Central Affairs' wins in having a thrilling storyline without losing its richness, in fact every episode has its peak thrill point, but to perform such roles it is definitely full of slyness and affairs, and this just still proves that the experienced actors are better, and his (Tse Yin) bed scenes with Pinky Cheung becomes Hong Kong media's hot gossip."

In the series, the difference from TVB's series who normally clearly differentiates their good parties and bad parties, ATV allows their every character the possibilities to change, allowing the character to have limitless boundary of development and complexity, such a manner allows a higher thrilling peak to occur, allows the series to continually peak towards the thrilling point." Other netizens also commented: "The behind scenes of the insurance industry in the series are in fact the pirated scenes of the entertainment industry, causing audience to be addicted. Those 'hidden rules' are the hidden rules of entertainment circle; actors are portraying what they have experienced personally."
